Depart from San Francisco (SFO) to Amman
We begin our pilgrimage with hearts open to wonder, leaving from San Francisco and heading toward the land of promise.

Arrival in Amman
Arrive at Amman Airport, meet our Jordanian guide, and drive into the city for rest and overnight.

📍 Day 3 | Saturday
Mount Tabour, Nazareth
After Breakfast and check-out, we head to the Sheik Hussein Border Crossing.
Mount Tabor
We meet our local guide and driver on the Israeli side and drive to Mount Tabor, the site of Jesus' Transfiguraation.

Church of the Anunciation
After lunch, we continue to Nazareth to visit the Church of the Annunciation the biggest bascilica in the Middle East.

Dr. Yohanna Katanacho for a time of reflection and dialogue.Rev. Dr. Yohanna Katanacho is a Palestinian-Israeli Evangelical theologian, Old Testament scholar, and the Academic Dean at Nazareth Evangelical College. He is the author of The Land of Christ: A Palestinian Cry, a powerful theological reflection on justice, identity, and the sacredness of the land through the lens of a Palestinian Christian. His work invites readers to see the Gospel as a call to peacemaking, compassion, and rooted hope in the midst of conflict..

Where the Franciscans uncovered Peter's home and one of the earliest house churches — a domus ecclesia.

  • The site of the miracle of the loaves and fishes. This 4th Century Mosaic depicts the loaves and the fish.

St. Peter Primacy
  • The church marking Jesus' third appearance after the resurrection, where He asked Peter three times, "Do you love me?" (John 21)

The first-century synagogue where Jesus may have taught.

Return to Tiberias for dinner and overnight.

Banksy is a world-renowned street artist known for provocative, politically charged artwork—and in Bethlehem, his work has become a striking form of resistance and storytelling. From the satirical Walled Off Hotel, located beside the Separation Wall, to haunting murals scattered throughout the city, Banksy uses art to spotlight the realities of occupation and the resilience of the Palestinian people. His work turns walls meant to divide into canvases that demand global attention.
In the evening, we drive to Jerusalem and check in to our hotel.

Jesus' Final Hours in Jerusalem
The Mount of Olives
Overlooking the Old City and the Temple Mount, we walk down the Palm Sunday path, pausing at Dominus Flevit, where Jesus wept over Jerusalem.

A place of prayer, agony, and surrender.

Visit these ancient sites mentioned in John 5.
Via Dolorosa
Retrace Jesus' steps from the Praetorium to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre — a massive Crusader-era church that took 50 years to build.

After lunch, there's free time in the Old City's bazaars. We end our day at the Western Wall, a site of Jewish prayer and longing. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Baptism and the Dead Sea
After breakfast and check-out, we head east toward the King Hussein border checkpoint and cross to Jordan.
We visit Bethany Beyond the Jordan, where Jesus was baptized by John.

After lunch, we drive south to the Dead Sea, where we'll enjoy floating, spa time, and the healing mineral-rich mud. Dinner and overnight on the shores of the Dead Sea.

Madaba
An ancient town known for the famous 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land, housed in a Greek Orthodox Church.
After lunch, we drive to Petra for dinner and overnight.
📍 Day 10 Saturday
After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head to Petra, the iconic archaeological site dating to around 300 B.C., once the capital of the Nabatean Kingdom. Entered through the narrow canyon known as Al Siq, Petra features tombs and temples carved into rose-colored cliffs, earning it the nickname “The Rose City.” Its most famous monument is Al Khazneh, or “The Treasury,” rising 45 meters high. We’ll continue past the Street of Facades and the Royal Tombs to the Basin area, where we’ll enjoy lunch at the Basin Restaurant.
Petra was a crossroads of ancient trade and ideas. In the early centuries of the Church, some Nabataeans became Christians, and Petra even had a bishop who attended the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD—a reminder that the Gospel's reach extended deep into the desert.

At the end of the tour, we will return to the visitor center and drive approximately two hours to the magical desert of Wadi Rum. Known as the “Valley of the Moon,” Wadi Rum is one of the world’s most unique and dramatic desert landscapes—and a top destination for glamping. This style of camping blends the immersive beauty of nature with the comfort and luxury of hotel-like accommodations, offering a truly unforgettable experience under the stars.

Archaeologist, Historian, and Theological Storyteller
Sufian Abu Hanna has been guiding pilgrims and seekers through the Holy Land for over 15 years, helping them encounter the Scriptures where history, theology, and archaeology meet. A graduate of Haifa University, he studied archaeology, history, and theology—and continues to deepen his theological understanding through personal study and devotion.

Warning About the Food
The food in the Holy Land is dangerously delicious. Expect generous hospitality. Your hosts won't feel they've succeeded unless you've gained at least a few joyful pounds From Warm pita and fresh hummus to grilled meats, olives, za'atar, and pastries soaked in honey, meals are overflowing with flavor, color, and love. Resistance is futile - and why would you try?

The total cost for the 12-day Holy Land and Jordan Tour is:

To make it manageable, the total is broken into three installments:
$100 — Due by 90 days before departure
Holds your flight and confirms your reservation.
$1,280 — due at confirmation
$920 — due 3 months prior
$2,300 — due 2 months prior
We’ll send reminders before each due date. All payments go directly toward securing your flights, accommodations, meals, and experiences.

  • Full refund less $100 if cancelled before 90 days from departure
  • 60-46 days from departure: $1840 cancellation fee
  • 45-31 days from departure: $2,990 cancellation fee
  • 30-16 days from departure: $3, 910 cancellation fee
  • No refunds will be given for "no shows"
